Call for contribution: Map of forest monitoring and manipulation initiatives

Call for contribution: Map of forest monitoring and manipulation initiatives

As a part of the CLEANFOREST COST ACTION, we aim to collect information about ongoing forest monitoring sites and manipulation experiments to create a pan-European map of research initiatives.

The focus of this map is on research-driven monitoring activities and experimental sites that are not part of large official monitoring networks (e.g., ICP Forests, ICOS, LTER, FLUXNET, etc).

The objective is to identify independent monitoring initiatives and experimental manipulations in forest ecosystems in order to facilitate collaboration and highlight ongoing research efforts at the pan- European scale and worldwide.

Sites belonging exclusively to official monitoring networks should not be submitted unless they host additional research monitoring or manipulation experiments beyond the standard network protocols.

To contribute, please spare 5 minutes to fill up this form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: cleanforest.communication@gmail.com and rossellaguerrieri@gmail.com
