ICP Forests task force meeting 2023

ICP Forests task force meeting 2023

The Chair of the Action (Rossella Guerrieri) was invited to give an overview of CLEANFOREST during the ICP Forests task force hybrid meeting on the 8th June. One of the goals of our Action is to build synergies with and across different monitoring networks in Europe. The involvement of the ICP Forests community (and many of our core group and MC members and participants are part of the ICP Forests) is crucial for achieving specific research and capacity building goals, not only in terms of data and expertise that can be shared within CLEANFOREST network, but also for the vision that such a powerful long-term research initiative can contribute to developing on how forest monitoring should be in the future to be able to tackle challenges under global change scenarios.
