Lora Stoeva is an assistant professor at the Forest Research Institute under the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She holds a PhD in Forest Ecology and Conservation. Her scientific interests are related to forest monitoring, forest productivity, and monitoring and assessment of carbon balance of the forest ecosystems. She works mainly on international climate change issues in relation to Forestry and Land use as she is actively engaged in the preparation of the Bulgarian LULUCF GHG Inventory under UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). Lora has also experience in developing and implementing methodologies for quantifying ecosystem services and enhancing natural capital accounting frameworks.
